The Inner Healing Process

The Inner Healing Process is a natural sequence your body moves through as it reorganizes after significant stress or injury. When this process becomes blocked by overwhelm or exhaustion, pain, tension, restlessness, and fatigue can build.

You’ll be guided through self-led daily practices, and supported by community calls and 1-on-1 sessions.

About Me

Nicky Macaluso

somatic therapist, LMT

I’m Nicky, the creator of Functional Energy Movement™.

Since 2010, I’ve studied and practiced numerous forms of energy work, somatics, medical massage, mindfulness meditation, neuroplastic pain rehab, trauma-informed movement, sports medicine, and holistic healing modalities. I’ve worked in clinics and gyms, supporting people ages 30 to 70 heal from chronic pain and psycho-somatic distress.

It wasn’t until my oldest brother died in 2017, though, that I discovered true healing doesn’t happen from fixing something wrong, but reorganizing what’s happening inside of us for harmony to exist from within.

What matters most to me is this:

  • I’ll never let you believe your struggle is “in your head” or that something’s wrong with you

  • I’ll never tell you what’s right or how to be “normal”

  • I’ll always listen deeply, ask challenging questions, and give you tools to help you discover how your system wants to grow
