Pain relief may be the motivation,

but regaining your life is the goal.

When pain doesn’t go away or keeps coming back for a long time, it can gradually take away the experiences we love most about our lives.

Playing with family or friends, feeling strong and youthful, sleeping through the night, confidently going on hikes or vacations… Living with pain long enough can change not only our bodies, but our entire lives.

That’s why the Resilient Relief system is designed not only to help alleviate pain with massage therapy, assisted stretching, and restorative training, but also to support the achievement of our health and wellness life goals.

You may need Resilient Relief when:

  • Pain from injury, surgery, or distress continues to limit essential daily movements or activities

  • Massage helps temporarily, but tension or discomfort keeps returning

  • You want to rebuild strength safely without forcing yourself through pain

  • You feel uncertain about how to return to a sport or activity safely

  • You don’t want to depend on treatment or therapy, and want to learn how to sustain your relief long term

  • You’re determined to return to a life that your pain, injury, or surgery has kept you from

My Approach

Get the relief you need,

then train to make it last.

Enduring pain relief is rarely achieved through a single therapeutic method because pain is often caused by multiple interacting factors like exercise habits, inflammation, stress, posture, sleep, or nutrition - not just one injured muscle or stiff joint.

That's why I bring several pain-relief therapies into a single, comprehensive approach for resilient relief.

(1) Reduce pain with orthopedic massage that calms irritated tissues, softens muscular tension, and helps your body feel immediate relief.

(2) Restore easeful movement with assisted stretching and joint mobilization to improve flexibility and range of motion.

(3) Build targeted strength in underactive muscles to improve posture, tissue integrity, and neuromuscular adaptation.

(4) Create lasting change with personalized daily practices that change the patterns contributing to your pain and align your current lifestyle with your future goals.

How We’ll Work Together

Step 1: Consultation

30-Minute Phone Call: Free

We’ll discuss what’s bothering you, what you’re working towards, and answer any questions you have about my approach. By the end of the call, we'll decide together whether moving forward makes sense.

Step 2: Comprehensive Evaluation & Initial Treatment

2 Hour Investment: $295

Your entire body will be assessed and worked with using orthopedic massage, assisted stretching, and restorative exercises. Together, we'll identify the key factors contributing to your pain and address them thoroughly for immediate relief. Before we finish, you'll be taught a customized movement routine for you to continue making progress after our session.

Step 3: Integrated Treatment-Training Follow-Up

60/90 Minute Investment: $200/250

Each follow-up includes hands-on treatment, personal training, and an updated routine to ensure your progress toward becoming less reliant on our sessions together. As your pain lessens, our focus will gradually shift from rehabilitative training to building lasting resilience, so you can return to the life and activities you love most with confidence.

If, after your first session, you don't feel you received meaningful relief with a clear plan to continue your progress, I'll fully refund your investment.

About Nicky, CMT, CPT

I am a certified massage therapist, personal trainer, and somatic movement educator serving San Rafael and surrounding Marin County communities.

For more than 15 years, I have helped people work with pain through orthopedic bodywork, restorative movement, strength training, and body-based education.

Earlier in my career, I focused primarily on helping people feel better during individual sessions. Over time, I recognized that temporary relief was not enough.

I wanted people to leave with a better understanding of their bodies and a clearer sense of how they could participate in their own progress.

That realization became the foundation of Resilient Relief.

My role is not to diagnose you, force your body to change, or position myself as the person with every answer. My role is to listen, provide skilled support, help you notice patterns, and teach you practices that can become useful in daily life.

The deeper purpose of this work is not simply to change how you feel during a session. It is to help you become more capable of adapting to the changing needs of your body and your life.

Curious if my work will help you?

The best place to start is with a free 30-minute consultation.

We'll talk about what's going on, answer any questions you have, and decide together whether working together is the right next step.
